Born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece, Barbara Mitseli studied jewellery design and manufacturing.

For over 20 years, prior to establishing her brand, she worked in the fashion industry owning and operating high end fashion boutiques. 

Fascinated by Greek culture and traditional fables she aims to design jewellery that narrate a story. Baring symbolisms such as the snake, symbol of female power, the egg, symbol of fulfilment, Medusa’s head and more she composes a mythical world through the unique pieces she creates.

She enjoys giving a second life to antique jewellery, hunting for and transforming old pieces to post-modern jewellery for herself and her clientele.

She believes in the beauty of imperfection aiming for her jewellery to feel like they were just discovered in an old drawer, unburied from the ground, flawed yet beautiful for their uniqueness.
